Facial aesthetics is a subjective assessment of all the contributing factors that play a role in the perceived facial appearance of a patient. As dentists, we focus on dental aesthetics, including the appearance of the pink and white dental tissues. A better understanding of facial aesthetics can be a complement to our approach to dental aesthetics.
